Based on research, investigation and artistic creation related to the territory of Guimarães, the Campanice collective presents the exhibition, “How to plant a boulder”, at the Palácio Vila Flor. The collective is composed by the artists ACCA, Carlos Mensil, Carolina Grilo Santos, Diana Geiroto, Francisco Venâncio, Francisco Moura Relvas, Jorge Lourenço, Patrícia Geraldes, Paulo Mariz and Rúben Fernandes. In the form of an artistic residency, this exhibition explores the appropriation of collected stories for deconstruction of the idea of permanence and immobility. A series of original works are presented that critically approach ancestral or contemporary tales in a heterogeneous creative process, that is open to contamination by the other and the atmosphere of the place.
