FRIDAY 18 DECEMBER, 19H30
Aurora Negra
The song begins with the voice
of a woman, who is talking.
She speaks Creole (from Cape
Verde / Guinea Bissau), tchokwe
(from Angola) and Portuguese.
On stage, we see three women
who are foreigners, in any of the
places where these languages
are spoken. They look for the
deepest and most original roots
of their cultures. Each of them,
in their uniqueness, is sure
that nothing will ever be the
same - that this encounter may
represent a turning point. In this
“Black Dawn” they celebrate
their legacy and design a
path where they will assert
themselves as protagonists of
their stories.
