“Olarilólé, olarilólei / Dancing like that feels so good”. On September 17, the Centro Cultural Vila Flor will celebrate its anniversary with Pedro Mafama, playing music from his latest album, “Estava no abismo mas dei um passo em frente” (I was in the abyss but took a step forward). In the late afternoon, the CCVF’s magnificent gardens will be transformed into a large stage, graced with songs by Pedro Mafama, including “Preço Certo”, “Estrada,” “Marcha Bonita” and many others – the result of many years studying Portuguese popular music, focusing on Portuguese dances, marches and rumbas. It’s guaranteed fun – we’ll dance until sunset and joyfully celebrate the Centro Cultural Vila Flor’s 18th birthday!
