Hamlet, L’Ange du Bizarre
A disruptive and labyrinthine work. A hybrid work between dance, theatre and the world. Celebrating its 25th anniversary, Utero seeks inspiration from Shakespeare's classic play to reconstruct and, like Hamlet himself, seek a new meaning for those who free themselves from social and psychological constraints. What makes people question their own sense of the meaning of life? “Hamlet” will always be a literary work that will shed light on our darkest days, where we will seek to discover what puts us here, locked into the amazement of life. In each city where this work is performed, Miguel Moreira aims to incorporate the local reality in his work. In Guimarães, “Hamlet, L’Ange du Bizarre” will include images from the iconic Nicolinas festivities.
